Stevinson Family Photos Manteca CA Bay Area CA photographer family and child photography
When Nicole contacted me about doing her family photos and mentioned she wanted to do a 1920s theme, I was super excited. I don’t get very many themed family photo sessions, so this would be fun. Our original plan for a venue fell through, but her husband found this awesome place and we decided to give it a try. First of all, how had I not heard of this place?! It’s awesome! And apparently very popular for weddings. They have an area set up like an Old West town, a full size train complete with engine and caboose, a big barn, and old wagons and trams. Such a cool venue! And a hit with kids..bonus! Definitely check it out, if you’re ever in Stevinson. Lots to see. And sweet dogs that like to hang out and photobomb you. 🙂
So, when the Martins showed up in their flapper dresses and 20s gangster attire, we started shooting away. The kids loved the train and the old jailhouse. I loved the barn and the “town”. Something for everyone.
This photo session doubled as their daughter’s 2nd birthday photo shoot, also themed. So, we got some adorable shots of just her in her Lilo and Stitch dress and her Hawaiian outfit. And then we wrapped up with a few of the whole family in their regular clothes.
I really enjoyed meeting this family, and hope I can work with them again soon. Shout out to Kristen for sending them my way! I love referrals. 😉 Thank you Nicole, for trusting me with your family’s memories. Here’s a little look at their session:
